ELPT: Registration

Please register for the ELPT well in advance of your arrival at UAH. To register, follow the steps below.

1. Go to the main ELPT page on this website and identify an appropriate test date for your first semester at UAH.  For example, if you are beginning your studies in the fall semester, choose a test date offered prior to the first day of fall classes. Please check these dates before making travel arrangements to the U.S. It is best to arrive in the U.S. at least two days before your ELPT date.

2. Send email to the director of ESL at esl@uah.edu. Put "ELPT Registration" as the Subject heading. Include the following information in the body of the message.

   • Family Name, First Name

   • Student Id Number (A....)

   • Status (Undergrad/Grad)

   • TOEFL Score (including subscores)

3. Appear for the ELPT at Business Administration Building, Room 226 (BAB226) by 8:45 a.m. on the test date. The full test will take up to two and a half hours, depending on which sections you are assigned. For more information about the content and timing of the test, see the section on Format.
