ELPT: Results

1. Results are entered in the official UAH student system, Banner. You may obtain your results by having your advisor look at your official student record in Banner. If you have any questions about your placement, contact the director of ESL at esl@uah.edu.

   Do not call Testing Services, the English department or the ESL program to request your results. It is illegal for university personnel to release test scores over the phone.

2. If you are placed in one or more ESL courses, you should begin your ESL course(s) immediately. See the Registration section under ESL Program for more details.

3. Remember, you are required to complete all assigned ESL courses as soon as possible. If you have any questions about fulfilling this requirement, email the director of ESL at esl@uah.edu. For more information regarding registering for and taking ESL courses, see the ESL Program section.

Results

There is no "passing" or "failing" score on the ELPT. The scores simply reflect your language proficiency. Based on the results, you may be placed in ESL support classes. If you have questions about your results and placements, feel free to contact the director of ESL at the email address given below. She will be happy to explain your results and placement.
