IEP Tuition and Costs

The IEP does not follow the regular university fee structure. The following table outlines the direct costs associated with the IEP. Additional costs shown include, but are not limited to, room and board. For more details regarding options for Room and Board, see the link to the left. Also, note that specific amounts listed on the I-20 may vary but will not exceed those costs listed below.

Tuition covers the cost of instruction. For the Fall and Spring semesters (15 weeks), instruction includes 400 class hours. For the Summer semester (10 weeks), instruction includes 200 class hours.

Materials are estimated separately. This cost will cover any texts, computer peripherals (headsets), paper, pens, notebooks, etc. each semester.

Insurance includes the cost of health coverage as well as repatriation. For more information about the basic health coverage and additional options, you can visit the UAH Student Health Brochure.

Room and Board include the costs of housing as well as meals for the semester indicated. For more information, visit Room and Board.
